I’m Alve Araf. I shape identities,
campaigns and visual systems
around how people notice, choose
and remember.

I started with logos and visual identities. Over time, the work moved into packaging, campaigns, retail, outdoor and experiences. Working across freelance, agency and in-house roles taught me that design does not live in a presentation. It lives wherever people encounter it.

That is where the behavioral part of my practice came from. I became interested in why one message earns attention while another disappears, which cues become familiar, and how consistency builds recognition without becoming repetitive. I use those questions to decide what to emphasize, what to remove and what should repeat.

Today, I work inside FMCG beauty and homecare, moving between concept development, creative direction, art direction, design and AI visual direction. I value that range because the thinking becomes stronger when it stays connected to how the work is actually made.

Right now, I’m exploring how AI can expand image-making without flattening craft, and how brand systems can adapt across formats without losing recognition.

Away from the work

Outside work, I spend time with films, documentaries, nonfiction and podcasts. I also notice the things most people pass without thinking about: shop signs, packaging, street behavior and the small choices people make every day. Most of those observations eventually find their way back into how I think.
